What's Your Pittsburgh Story?
Carnegie Museum of Art | Spring 2022
Facilitator

What's Your Pittsburgh Story?  began as a prompt to the visitors of the Carnegie Museum of Art as a part of the "A Pittsburgh Anthology" exhibition. Cards filled with heartwarming personal stories began to fill binders, cover magnet boards, and deeply touch those who read them. These stories are now finding new life in the hands of students at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. This spring these cards will take on new life as base material for a class on devised and documentary theater. As a Gallery Associate Coordinator for CMOA, I identified the potential in the response cards, drew on my network and passion for education, and coordinated the integration of the materials into the class. Young Playwrights
Festival
City Theatre Company | Summer 2020
Education Assistant

The Young Playwrights Contest and Festival is a program that nourishes the creative voices of 7th-12th graders in western PA, and northern WV. Following my time as the 2019-20 season Literary/Education Intern, I was hired full time for a limited summer contract to assist in the administration of the 2020-21 pool of Young Playwrights submissions. My duties included organizing and communicating with over 50 volunteer readers, ensuring they received their play assignments, and we received their feedback forms. I also reviewed plays myself, and compiled feedback for student distribution. In addition I also created digital assets for the 2020-21 school year revised digital curriculum for the in-class component.
