The Declaration Project

Following my time as Education Fellow, I was brought back to assist in the creation of two digital projects with the Pittsburgh Public Theater; an entry in their summer PlayTime series called The Declaration Project, and a section of their Digital Gala, A Mod Masked Affair. Both projects involved communicating with student participants from that springs Shakespeare Monologue and Scene Contest.

In The Declaration Project we brought together a handful of student artists and devised with them their Declaration for the Future, how they as young agents of change could shape and createthe world they deserve to live in. The full broadcast of the project is available on PPT's facebook HERE

Cruessical

Cruessical : The Crucible a Seussical-like Musical premiered December 2017 at the Playground student works festival at Carnegie Mellon University, and was co-written and composed with Nora Gair and Padra Crisafulli. It's exactly what the title sounds like! An adaptation of Arthur Miller's The Crucible done in the style of the musical Seussical.

Julie's Cotillion

The instructions for this class assignment were three fold; One- choose a character from August Stirnburg's Miss Julie, Two- Transform the space, and three- Create their nightmare.

In this immersive theater piece, audiences are welcomed to a spring cotillion party. As they are lead by various actors through the house they are a part of the spring festival activities from making decorations to taking part in a great feast. However all is not as it seems
